The most memorable and high-touch stay at Punta de Vista!

We just returned from the best family vacation we have ever taken at Punta de Vista.

Our experience began with warm, professional and prompt responsiveness from Sabrina who helped us book the stay after answering many questions about accommodations for my elderly father and other logistics.

Once booked, Gloriela began planning activities for the 12 of us from transfers from our hotel in Arenal to daily adventures including kayaking, horseback riding, hiking and dinners. She took into account the various levels of mobility and booked appropriate and fun activities for us all. Once we arrived at the villa, we were stunned at the beauty of the home and the setting. We enjoyed seeing sloths and monkeys from our balconies and even had monkeys approach the pool and breakfast area on a few occasions, much to the delight of the children. David has designed accommodations that are luxurious with stunning views at every turn, with spaces for family dinners, quiet reading, movie watching and even spa services.

The villa was kept spotless with daily housekeeping and fresh linens and towels. The real differentiator at Punta de Vista, however, is the level of service provided by the team. They deserve so many accolades for their genuine care and obvious delight at serving guests. Every touchpoint we had with Raoul, Erick, Jackson, Harold, Francisco and Jossue was lovely, and we could tell that they approach their jobs with pride and from their hearts.

We appreciated the small touches like the cold towels on arrival and finding sloths to show the kids, but were really blown away and touched by all of the surprises from them, which included extravagant fruit trays, live entertainment and a beach bbq. We all remarked that we might never be able to create a vacation like that again together as a family. Throughout our entire stay, the team was welcoming, accommodating, generous and warm. We hope to return to Punta de Vista in the future and know that when we do, we will be greeted with the highest levels of hospitality and warmth.

The Villa is perfection as a wedding venue…

This property goes beyond renting a spectacular house. It was clearly designed to provide both maximum event space and maximum retreat space for its guests. We never felt crowded; it was more like a small intimate hotel whose staff quickly got to know the guests and began to anticipate each guests’ individual needs. The villa is perfection as a wedding venue but it is also so much more. I would also recommend this venue for a group vacation, a business retreat or a family reunion!

Punto de Vista is a place like no other…

We decided to have our wedding at PDV, as it is one of those rare places where you have the room for a large group of people, but still have the place all to yourselves! The villa itself is beyond what words or even pictures can explain. The layout of the villa makes everything convenient and easily accessible for guests of any age or ability. As a bride as Punto De Vista, I can’t say I would have ever chose anywhere else! It was beyond my wildest dreams, and from the feedback we have gotten, all the guests couldn’t agree more!

exceeded my expectations!

This villa is everything their advertising and other reviews said that it would be,… and more! I had never rented such a villa previously, and doing so for 16 guests for the first time was a presumptive challenge. But immediately after securing my dates, the villa owner put me in touch with a pre-arrival concierge who took care of nearly every detail of the planning. Once we arrived, the on-site butler took charge of making sure every need, every plan and every detail was completed to perfection. I would visit this place again and again, with every confidence the owner and staff could meet and exceed my expectations!

It was magical

Punto de vista by far exceeded all travels and experiences I’ve had in my life, not to mention it far surpassed the wedding I had dreamed of! It was magical, over the top, and perfect in every way. a special place in our hearts

Villa Punto de Vista (PDV) has a special place in our hearts because it was the location for our destination wedding in October 2012. Prior to selecting our wedding location, we searched throughout both Latin America and the Caribbean and there was no comparison when we found PDV. It was the perfect Romantic and unforgettable getaway to host our wedding party and our closest family and friends. In total we had 50 people from around the globe attend our wedding and the owner of the villa was kind enough to make additional travel and lodging recommendations in the vicinity to accommodate all of our guests.

The villa itself is a work of art made with superior architectural design, beautiful culture artifacts and luxurious finishes. The vistas from the comfort of your room are unmatched.

Recently we had the opportunity to return in January 2018 with our two sons (ages 2 & 3) to share this intimate experience with our children (minus the 50 ppl). We received a homecoming reception upon our return for much of the staff remember us from our first trip and welcomed our sons as their own.

We honestly didn’t think that our second trip would surpass our initial mind blowing experience but it did just that! The owner continues to reinvest in the villa adding upgrades to provide the best of luxury and convenience for large events and intimate gatherings. Every morning we experienced the best breakfast in Costa Rica, cooked by Chef Yessenia.

The owners and the staff are definitely one of the best parts of the experience of PDV. Their hospitality and class are top notch. They embody the Costa Rican philosophy of “Pura Vida.”They are so kind and truly make you feel like you are apart of the PDV family. We highly recommend this Five Star experience and anticipate our return in the future.

Beyond words!!!

My husband and I reserved Villa Punto de Vista for our wedding. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect location to host ourselves and wedding party for our special event. The pictures do not do this place justice! What is even more incredible than the luxury Villa and its suites (if you could even imagine) is the lush tropical oasis it is nestled in – which you truly don’t get an appreciation for just from the pictures. We saw way more monkeys and wildlife “in our own backyard” at the Villa than we did when we toured the National Park. The views from this Villa are unparalleled. Each room takes full advantage of the outdoor surroundings with their huge windows. You feel like you are outside when you are in your room. Each room is unique but offers the same luxury. The pool is where we spent a lot of time cause you can relax and watch the wildlife. I have never in my life stayed at such an amazing and unique place. We had 43 people come from the US to attend our destination wedding and everyone was in complete awe of this Villa. Well worth the trip for all of them!

Manuel Antonio is a wonderful tropical beach side mountain town – you get everything! Plenty of places walking distance. The beach that is walking distance from the Villa (10 min) is incredible which is why we had our ceremony there, followed by a dinner reception at the Villa. There are plenty of near-by stores, restaurants, ATMs, attractions, etc. The Villa has its own ATV which made transport to the beach very simple.

The staff literally caters to your every need. They do everything – Laundry, cleaning, bar service, concierge, dinner reservations – and the gourmet breakfast they prepare each morning is out of this world! Our favorite part was the Guanabana Mimosas! The view from the 4th floor breakfast area makes you feel like you are in a dream.
Overall, I can’t say enough about the Villa, the staff and the location!!!
